What gets removed
Clippo detects and removes:- Filler words — “um,” “uh,” “er,” “you know,” “like” (when used as filler)
- Long pauses — silences longer than your threshold setting
- False starts — repeated words at the beginning of sentences
How to remove filler words
Using Clippo Magic (easiest)
Filler removal is included automatically when you use Clippo Magic. No extra steps needed — just click Clippo Magic and fillers are removed along with everything else.Using Director Mode (more control)
Adjust sensitivity
Click the gear icon next to Filler Removal to configure:
- Low — removes only obvious fillers (“um,” “uh”)
- Medium (default) — removes fillers and long pauses
- High — aggressively removes fillers, pauses, and false starts
Apply and review
Click Apply. After processing, review the result. Removed sections appear as greyed-out segments on the timeline.[SCREENSHOT COMING SOON]
Tips
- Start with Medium sensitivity and only switch to High if Medium misses too many fillers.
- Always preview before exporting — especially on High sensitivity, which may occasionally cut short pauses that were intentional.
- Filler removal costs 1 credit per minute of original video length. It’s included in the Clippo Magic cost if you use Magic.
- Works best with clear speech — heavy background noise may reduce detection accuracy. Use Sparkle Audio first if your audio quality is poor.
