# How to Export Your Clips

> Choose your format, resolution, and aspect ratio and download your finished clip.

Once you've processed your video, exporting turns it into a downloadable file you can share anywhere. This guide covers all your export options.

## How to export

  <Step title="Finish editing">
    Make sure you're happy with your clip. Preview it one more time before exporting.

  <Step title="Click the Export button">
    Click the green **Export** button in the top-right corner of the editor.

  <Step title="Choose your aspect ratio">
    Select the aspect ratio for your export:

    | Aspect ratio         | Best for                                |
    | -------------------- | --------------------------------------- |
    | **9:16** (vertical)  | TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts |
    | **1:1** (square)     | Instagram feed, LinkedIn                |
    | **16:9** (landscape) | YouTube, websites, presentations        |
    | **4:5** (portrait)   | Facebook, Instagram feed                |

    Select your output resolution:

    | ---------- | ------------------ |
    | 720p       | Free, Creator, Pro |
    | 1080p      | Creator, Pro       |
    | 4K         | Pro only           |

    * **MP4** (default) — works everywhere, recommended for most uses
    * **MOV** — higher quality, larger file size, best for further editing

    Click **Export Now**. Processing takes a few seconds to a minute depending on length and resolution.

    When it's done, click **Download** to save the file to your computer.

## Re-downloading exports

All your exports are saved in your dashboard under **My Exports**. You can re-download any previous export without spending additional credits.

    Find the **My Exports** tab in your dashboard sidebar.

    Find the clip you want and click the **Download** icon.

## Export tips

* **Export multiple aspect ratios** from the same project — you don't need to re-process. Just change the aspect ratio and export again.
* **Each export costs 1 credit**, regardless of resolution or format.
* **Captions are burned into the video** on export. If you need a separate caption file (SRT), click **Download SRT** in the caption editor before exporting.
