# Your First Clippo Export: A Step-by-Step Guide

> A complete walkthrough for creating your first video clip with Clippo. No experience needed.

This guide walks you through making your very first video clip with Clippo. You don't need any video editing experience — just follow the steps below and you'll have a finished clip in about 10 minutes.

## 1. Logging in for the first time

You should have received an email invitation from your organization. Here's how to get started:

1. Open the email from Clippo and click the **Get Started** button.
2. If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO), you'll be asked to sign in with your usual work login. Otherwise, create a password.
3. Once signed in, you'll land on your **dashboard** — this is your home screen in Clippo.

## 2. Your dashboard

Your dashboard is where all your video projects live. Right now it's empty — that's normal! You're about to create your first project.

The three things to know about your dashboard:

1. The **New Project** button (top right) is how you start a new video.
2. Your finished clips appear here after you export them.
3. You can come back to any project to make changes later.

## 3. Uploading your first recording

    Click the **New Project** button in the top-right corner of your dashboard.

    You'll see an upload screen. Either:

    * **Drag and drop** your video file from your computer onto the screen, or
    * Click **Browse** and select the file from your folders

    Clippo accepts MP4, MOV, and WebM video files.

    You'll see a progress bar. This usually takes less than a minute. Don't close the browser tab while it's uploading.

## 4. Using Clippo Magic

This is the fun part. Clippo Magic will automatically improve your video — cleaning up audio, removing filler words (like "um" and "uh"), and adding captions.

    Once your video finishes uploading, you'll see a large pink button labeled **Clippo Magic**. Click it.

    Clippo will process your video. You'll see a progress bar. This usually takes 1–3 minutes.

    While you wait, here's what Clippo is doing:

    * Removing filler words and awkward pauses
    * Cleaning up your audio (reducing background noise, leveling volume)
    * Adding captions to your video
    * Adjusting the video frame so you stay centered

## 5. Previewing your result

    When processing finishes, click the **Play** button to watch your clip. You'll see your improved video with captions.

    Watch through your clip and check:

    * Do the captions look correct? (You can click on any caption to fix a word if needed.)
    * Does the audio sound good?
    * Does the framing look right?

  Don't worry about making everything perfect. You can always come back and make changes later.

## 6. Exporting your clip

Now let's turn your clip into a video file you can use.

    Select **9:16 (Vertical)** as your aspect ratio. This is the standard format for phone-sized videos and social media.

    Click the **Export Now** button. Clippo will prepare your final video. This takes a few seconds.

## 7. Where your file goes

    When the export finishes, you'll see a **Download** button. Click it to save the video file to your computer.

    Your clip is also saved in your Clippo dashboard under **My Exports**. You can come back and download it again anytime.
